Challenger Spares & Support (CSS) has been successfully engaged in the parts and technical support of the Bombardier Aerospace Challenger series aircraft since 2001. This support is provided to owners, operators, management companies, insurance companies, brokers, and service centers. This service is enhanced through rental and exchange of Bombardier Global or Challenger aircraft parts and by offering Engine and Airframe Cost Control Programs.

The in-house Challenger inventory contains complete Lycoming/Honeywell ALF502 engines and the following individual components; Fan, Fan & Main Frame Assembly, Gas Producer, Fuel Control, Gear Box, Heat Exchanger, Exciter Boxes, Oil lines and Bleed Band Actuator. In addition to the airframe components such as, Engine Inlet Cowling, Upper Outer Cowling, Lower Outer Cowling, Core Cowlings, Ring Segments, Fire Loops, Exhaust Nozzle, Fuel Motive Flow Pump, Main Engine Fuel Lines, Fuel Flow Transmitter, Fan Bypass Cowlings, Bleed Air Lines, Y Ducts, and Engine Mounts.. In addition to the engines and components we also have a very large airframe inventory to support this series aircraft. Included is Skirt Panel, Thrust Reversers, Power Drive Units, Ball Screw Actuators, Blocker Doors, Airframe Interface Hardware, Hydraulic Lines, Air Start Valves, Bleed Air Valves, Check Valves, Pressure Switches, Integrated Drive Generator, Hydraulic Pumps, Air Starters, Leading Edges, Ailerons, Elevators, Flaps, Jackscrews, Wheels, Brakes, exchange or rental Landing Gear, Air Driven Generator, Integrated Drive Generator, Nose Gear Doors, Fuel Boost Pumps plus much more.

This support has been expanded with a recent purchase of a full ship set of Bombardier Global series aircraft components giving CSS the largest independently owned in-house Bombardier Global parts inventories in the world. This inventory included two very low time Rolls-Royce BR700-710A2-20 engines with the complete right and left engine build up components, including the Inlets, Upper and Lower Cowlings, Fixed Cowls, Thrust Reverser Assemblies and two complete sets of engine accessories: Hydraulic Pumps, Variable Frequency Generators, Starters and Bleed Air Valves. The airframe components include every item on a Global series aircraft; Elevators, Horizontal Stabilizer, Vertical Stabilizer, Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Actuator and Computer, APU (very low time), Complete Environmental Systems, Hydraulic Pumps and Motors, Hydraulic Reservoirs, Fuel Boost Pumps, Air Valves, Fuel Valves, Flaps, Ailerons, Slats, Spoilers & Spoilerons , Fire Bottles, Ozone Filters, Wheels, Brakes, Air Driven Generator, Flap/Slat Drive Motors, Slat Actuators, Main Entrance Door and Stairs Assembly, APU Exhaust Duct and Avionics. Challenger Spares & Support entered into the Bombardier Global series aircraft support market with an in-house inventory of a full ship-set of Bombardier Global series aircraft components. In addition to the structural items from the Bombardier Global aircraft, CSS also has the complete Midcoast Aviation G5000 Limited Addition Interior. This interior is complete with Rockwell Collins CSE G5000 Cabin Electronics System for the Global 5000. This includes Satellite Communication System and High speed Link (SAT-6100), ICG ICS-100 Iridium Telephone system, Cabin Management and Airshow ASXi, just to name some of the items; all the options offered by the outfitter (Midcoast Aviation) for a Global 5000 new aircraft completion. If you opperate a Global 5000 or CRJ200 and are wishing to upgrade your current interior, or use an interior in the conversion process of a CRJ200 to an executive configuration, we have one in a two compartment 15 passenger configuration, with a forward and aft lavatory.
